Holiday season shopping madness has set in. Sorry mom I couldn't get you that expensive gift 'cause I spent all my money on CPs. Eeek. Our first arrivals of the season came in this week and we went to work potting them up. Here are some quick tips and pics of how we plant our bare root nepenthes.

As it prepares for its winter rest, our windowsill-grown Pinguicula "Aphrodite" sends up her first flower.

Here is a current list of our plants. We will be updating as we add to our collection. We currently have plants on our back porch, in a sunny south facing window, two grow racks with lights, and a lowland terrarium.

Our blog is meant to share our experiences growing and cultivating carnivorous plants. As we began growing our plants in the Spring of 2011, we searched the web looking for tips, tricks, and hints at what works best. We found a lot of information, most of which seemed to contradict the last thing we read. We hope to share our successes and challenges as novice carnivorous plant growers and enthusiasts.
